While 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare set the foundation for the new era of the franchise as a service-like experience, the tradition is carried over from Treyarch with the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Already, we witnessed the first installation of the title’s post-launch campaign with season one which shipped back in December. Now, as you might expect, the developer is to proceed with the same treatment.

After many fans growing excited for the next content overhaul to multiplayer and the free-to-play Warzone, Treyarch finally pulled the lid off to unveil its next major addition to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War with season two. First came the teaser cinematic trailer earlier this past week and now followed by a full-blown gameplay visual and a roadmap for what is to come later on.

Fan-favorite Gun Game, Hardpoint and Stockpile are also returning in season 2 as well. Also, expected the welcoming of the Death Machine scorestreak as well. Between online and Warzone, there are also a plethora of new weapons to pick from in addition to the new gametypes.

In total, there are six  new weapons for players to equip when playing: Fara 83, LC10, Machete, E-Tool, R1 Shadowhunter, ZRG 20mm. Expanding on the topic regarding content divided between matchmaking and Warzone, players can also find new Operative Maxis, Naga, Rivas, and Wolf to choose from upon the commencement of season two.

Now eyeing over to Warzone, new locations are scattered across Verdansk with the addition of the Vodianoy going missing as well. Game modes Exfiltration and Rebirth Island Resurgence Extreme are being issued also. Not to mention the new Outbreak zombies experience that you and your friends can drop into together.
