Like we associate with every console we own, most will play a brief clip or sound queue that introduces the owner to their new system. This element has been grandfathered into console gaming for a few decades now and is just expected for companies like Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo to follow suit with each new iteration. But usually we see this aspect of the new unit when it arrives at its respected launch date.
Howbeit, Microsoft looks to have went ahead and shared the chime the for Xbox Series X in anticipation for this coming Inside Xbox later this Thursday. You can watch the boot-up sequence in the video below:
The clip titled ‘First-Look Xbox Series X Gameplay’ holds to be just a teaser prior to the approaching online presentation. Just like turning on a console, this video holds to be the boot-up sequence before the gameplay actually starts later in the week.
Given from the snippet shared, there is more to see than the brief boot-up for Xbox One. However, in contrast to the Xbox One X, there is less detail than the sequence for the 2017 system. The logo fades from the background as the audio gradually builds in intensity as a lens flare breaks from behind the logo itself. At that point a second musical queue hits and the saturation of light is diluted to only show the complementing black and white image.
The clip comes from a new announcement today made from Microsoft revealing Xbox 20/20. The new initiative holds as a monthly showcase to introduce new information on upcoming news for the Xbox Series X and titles supported for the system. The firm shows to take advantage of its online presence since COVID-19 has hindered any in-person events for majority of this year already.
What do you have in mind for the Xbox Series X boot-up chime?
Xbox Series X is slated to ship sometime in holiday 2020.
