Session Developer Crea-Ture Studios Now A Nacon Subsidiary Following Acquisition

From developer Crea-ture Studios, Session continues to be a definitive answer for what players want outside of Electronic Arts’ Skate franchise. Already aware of the game’s potential, publisher Nacon decided to get a head start on the promise the game can deliver by offering a publisher agreement to the Canadian game studio. Now with a steadier foundation, the project can continue to flourish as the team furthers its work on the game.

Just last year, the team shipped Session for Xbox Game Preview following what felt an eternity of a prolonged release for the game’s marketed platform. Now a full Earth’s revolution after and the game is being prepared to launch. Now, the game is including both PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 to its supported systems alongside Xbox and PC as well.

But in a new announcement from Nacon, the firm is outright acquiring Crea-ture Studios adding the developer to its other 11 teams that the firm purchased in the last three years.

Additionally, Nacon in the press release for the Crea-ture Studios acquisition also shares plans to be a leader in the respective AA video game market within the next two years. “This new external growth transaction is perfectly in line with the NACON 2023 plan, which aims to make NACON one of the leaders in ‘AA’ video games.”
