Summary

9/10

If Electric Blue is the loud nostalgic return to childhood popsicle flavors, Ultra Wild Passion is the cooler, more controlled sibling. It has a tropical flavor that feels grown up, sharp, and refreshing while still giving you that signature Monster bite. Zero sugar and low calories make it easy to fit into any daily routine, and the flavor has enough personality to stand out even among the already strong Ultra lineup.

Monster Energy showed off more than one surprise during the National Association of Convenience Stores Expo a few weeks ago, and the second flavor in the spotlight is Ultra Wild Passion. This one comes from the beloved Ultra series which is known for clean flavors, crisp carbonation, and zero sugar formulas that do not feel like compromises. With Electric Blue rolling into stores now, Ultra Wild Passion is right behind it and ready to make its own statement.

Monster describes this flavor as sweet and tart passionfruit with a citrus twist. That is a bold promise, and the drink absolutely delivers on it. The very first sip hits you with a juicy burst of passionfruit that feels lively and bright. The citrus slides in right after and gives it a refreshing lift that keeps the flavor from ever feeling heavy or overly sweet. It is tropical without being syrupy, and it has that familiar Ultra series lightness that makes it incredibly easy to drink.

What really stands out is how clean this flavor feels. The Ultra line has always nailed the balance between sweetness and sharpness, and Ultra Wild Passion continues that streak with confidence. The lighting style carbonation gives it a crisp snap that cuts through the fruit and keeps the drink feeling ice cold even when it starts warming up. It is refreshing in a way that fits both summer weather and gym bag moments.

Unlike the new Electric Blue, Ultra Wild Passion is a zero sugar drink with the usual Ultra style profile. You get only ten calories per can along with fifty milligrams of caffeine which makes it one of the lighter options in Monster’s entire catalog. It is the kind of drink you can reach for when you want a flavorful kick without taking in a full wave of sugar.

The nutrition breakdown is simple and clean. One can contains ten calories, zero grams of sugar, and fifty milligrams of caffeine. That is it. No surprises, no sugar spike, no heavy crash. Just a smooth burst of tropical energy.
