Sony Has Announced That God of War Sold Over Ten Million Copies

God of War, One of Sony’s exclusive titles for the PlayStation 4 in 2018 has hit over ten million copies sold. The game launched on April 20, 2018 and it joins Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us Remastered as one of the highest selling exclusives for the PS4. This new comes from an investor presentation by Jim Ryan, the president and CEO of Sony Interactive.

God of War was one of the top games rated on OpenCritic last year with an average of 95 which has been the story as of late with single player games. It’s not surprising to see an exclusive of this quality receive a lot of sales since its console has almost hit 100 million units sold. There wasn’t much else revealed as far as their exclusive sales, but this one for sure stands out and is a great accomplishment for the Sony Santa Monica team.

E3 2019 is next month and Sony will not have a conference this year.
