
Square Enix has released a 25th anniversary website for Final Fantasy X. The website reveals that the 25th anniversary will be celebrated on July 19, 2026.
“We have prepared various events to express our gratitude to all of you who have supported us over the years, so please look forward to them.”
To get the celebration started, Square Enix revealed new Tidus and Yuna art from Tetsuya Nomura. They are also releasing new Final Fantasy X plushies featuring Yuna, Tiida, Wakka, Ruru, Aaron, and others.
A new Final Fantasy X LP Vinyl Set was also revealed. It comes with 20 tracks from the original game, and it’s featured on two discs. There were also other goodies announced for the 25th anniversary, but there looks to be more coming soon.
Final Fantasy X was released on July 19, 2001, for PlayStation 2. It has become available on PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch since its original release.
