Bethesda Game Studios have announced that Starfield has officially gone gold and they revealed when players can preload the game. Players on Xbox Series XlS and Windows PC can preload Starfield starting August 17 and players on Steam can preload the game starting August 30.

It was rumored that preloads were already going to be up on August 9 based on an Amazon listing, but that turned out to be false.

With Starfield going gold that means Bethesda has completed development on the game and it’s ready to release on September 6, 2023 for Xbox Series XlS and PC. Make sure you have space on your Xbox or PC because Starfield will cost you 125GB at release.

Bethesda and Microsoft came out with multiple limited edition products to go with Starfield; you can view those here.

Starfield will be available on Xbox Game Pass Day One.
