Minecraft over the years has been updated multiple times, giving the game more items, biomes, and just making the game overall better. The new “Boss” update is no exception. This update will be coming to the Windows 10, Pocket, and the “Gear VR” editions of Minecraft on October 18th. What is this update bringing to Minecraft? Well just like in the title, new boss battles will now be a feature. We don’t have specifics about what and where these “boss battles” will be but we should expect new locations and awesome loot that you will be able to get after defeating these “Bosses”.
Also arriving in this update is the new addition of Add-ons. Add-ons will allow you to change and experiment with components of objects and characters in the game. You can change the behaviors of villagers, and even create new mobs. Once you create these Add-ons, you can upload them to your realms, where everyone can use them.
When playing the Gear VR and Windows 10 version of Minecraft, you will be able to use your wireless Xbox controller with Bluetooth. And Oculus Touch input will be available for those VR players on the Windows 10 beta.
All this information is coming from MINECON, so if anything else interesting pops up, we’ll make sure to share it with you.
