The Elder Scrolls VI has been officially announced

Going into Bethesda’s conference we knew we were getting Fallout 76 and Rage 2 information, but the rest was a little vague. Todd Howard closed out the showcase with a huge announcement of one of the company’s biggest series: The Elder Scrolls VI.
All the confirmation we got from the very small tease was that the game is in development and the teaser offers a very foggy landscape and then the title appears up on screen. Now the question has been answered for fans of the series and it comes down to when we see gameplay which is probably a year or two away from our guesses.
In April, Rectify Gaming reported that Xbox will have the marketing right for The Elder Scrolls VI, but we probably won’t know that officially until a couple years down the road. You can read that exclusive post of ours here.
