The Medium Officially Arrives To PlayStation 5 On September 3rd, New Trailer Reveals

Although Xbox Series X|S is recognized currently to be absent of many unique releases for its platform in the first couple of months, whatever titles it does have is already migrating over to PlayStation. In that, Tomas Sala’s The Falconeer is scheduled to ship later this year for PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 from one listing on Amazon Japan.

Additionally, that trend is expected to resume with Bloober Team’s The Medium. Recently, an update to the ESRB listing for the game was applied which now revealed the game is rated for PlayStation 5. However, there was no further details as to when owners on the newest Sony machine can expect the Xbox Game Studios-published title.

In a new trailer on Wednesday, Bloober Team unveiled the port and reveals a release date for early September. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:

“The Medium is coming to PlayStation 5! With your perception enhanced by the DualSense controller, travel between the dual realities and explore them both at the same time,” Bloober Team announced on Twitter in one post. The developer also revealed a new collaboration with Koch Media to produce a physical release for The Medium when it ships later this fall.

Elsewhere previously, Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno shared that the firm is working on a new horror experience and the team is involved with a very prolific publisher on the unannounced IP as well. You can read the full report by heading here.
