It had been reported earlier this year that a new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was in development. The initial report started from a Polish video game insider who accurately had inside information on this. The expectation was that this DLC would release in May 2026, and obviously, that is not happening.
The Witcher 3 has sold over 60 million copies since its release in 2015 and has won over 250 Game of the Year awards. Since its release the game has become available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
