There are few franchises that can stand the test of time. Making a great game with a strong fan base to follow is something that isn’t done like clockwork, but it is something that TimeSplitters has done and those fans still remember. This is why there was much elation when the TimeSplitters IP (Intellectual property) was purchased by Deep Silver last year, and today Deep Silver provided a small update on the IP.

This quote comes from THQ’s financial report as they mention  ”Last year Deep Silver acquired the much-loved TimeSplitters IP. We’re delighted to announce that one of the series’ creators, Steve Ellis, has joined us to help plot the future course for this franchise.”

Now, this could mean a brand new TimeSplitters game, a remake, or even a remaster, hell at this point fans will take all three. As long as there is an effort to improve the graphics but maintain the characters that made the name “TimeSplitters” so unique.
