It’s Thursday, and you know what this means: a new Challenge character for MKX mobile in the form of Tournament Quan Chi. It’s also fitting that after an exhausting Challenge last week that featured three characters, it’s good to go back to just one here.

Tournament Quan Chi

Tournament Quan Chi (Netherrealm):

SUMMONED DARKNESS: Quan Chi can reflect damage from first three Special Attacks back a the opponent. On tag-in, team members are granted Vampirism (transfer an opponent’s life meter to yours) on unblocked attacks for 10 seconds

Base Statistics:

  • 1,150 Attack
  • 1,150 Health
  • 1,000 Toughness
  • 1,050 Recovery
  • 100% Power Generation
  • Special Attack 1: Sky Crush (Medium damage)
  •       ”           ”      2: Ground Blast (High damage)
  •       ”           ”      3/X-Ray: Skull Krusher (Extreme damage)

Tower Challenge:

  • IV (12 matches): Your team must be made up of only Spec Ops Characters.
  • V (15 matches): Kitana (of any type) must be on your team.

Rewards:

  • Normal Difficulty: Acquiring Tournament Quan Chi (or another Tier if you already have him).
  • Hard Difficulty: A new Tier of Tournament Quan Chi plus Bound Demon Accessory.

Tournament Quan Chi is very useful as a Netherrealm teammate. You can combine him with other useful ones such as Revenant Kung Lao, who can give you one 1 bar of Power at the start, and Revenant Sub-Zero, who can give you extra damage. Quan Chi is also useful for, as mentioned, reflecting damage from Special Attacks.

This Challenge ends on Thursday January 3rd, 2019 at 11 AM PST.

Happy New Year!

I have been gaming since 1987 when arcades were king. Still enjoy old school games. “Part-time” writer, forever gamer.
