Ubisoft Reveals Next VR Escape Room – Prince Of Persia: The Dagger Of Time

What began as a trend following the releases of both Assassin’s Creed: Origins and Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey birthed a wave of virtual reality escape rooms. These new experiences take players to the land of Egypt or Greece to experience a unique story set in the universe of Assassin’s Creed.

However, 2019 last year did not introduce a new entry for the publisher’s landmark franchise, so what will come for this year’s latest in-person experience? The answer is a return to an older property owned by Ubisoft. Announced just last week, Ubisoft shared that the next escape room will be set in the world for Price of Persia.

Revealing Prince Of Persia: The Dagger Of Time, this new escape room is said to take place within the series’ timeline of the original trilogy of installments. Running from Prince of Persia: Sands of Time to Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, there is plenty of ground to cover with this new game. Here is the synapse for the upcoming VR escape room:

“In the game, two, three or four players team up to find a way out of a reimagined Fortress of Time. To succeed, they need to work together and solve puzzles. The puzzles will require players to interact with objects in their vicinity, climb, and use certain powers, such as the time control.”

As of yet, Ubisoft has yet to disclose when exactly this new game will arrive for fans to experience. But the company did share where the game will be held across the globe: listing major cities like London, Brussels, Washington D.C., Atlanta, and Los Angeles to be some of the bevy to be receiving The Dagger of Time?
