until dawn 2

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Firesprite announced Until Dawn 2 is releasing on PlayStation 5 in 2027.

Until Dawn 2 is a standalone experience, featuring a brand new cast, a new world to explore, and a modern horror experience filled with intrigue, emotion, and twists. This time around, how you manage relationships within the crew matters more than ever, with some branches based on where things stand between characters. Every moment will matter, including the smaller ones that set off a ‘Butterfly Effect’.

Firesprite has said they will be rolling out more story details, diving into Until Dawn 2’s gameplay, and introducing the new cast of the game.

Below is a brief overview of the game via the PlayStation Store:

Ready to die for likes? Join a team of ambitious ghost hunters as they chase their next viral hit on a remote island haunted by a woman’s chilling story of demons and ghostly phenomena.

When the tale begins to manifest in terrifying ways, the group will have to fight their own fear – and anything else that gets in their way – to get off the island alive. Their lives are in your hands. Make every choice count.
