Watch Dogs 2 behind the scenes video shows inspiration of hacktivism and Dedsec

A new, behind the scenes video has been released for Watch Dogs 2 and it shows the inspiration behind the creation of Dedsec. The development team discusses what they went through in order to ensure a level of realism in game. As the video notes, the hacking community isn’t just some angry kid in a dark basement trying to break a firewall, but rather focusing on ensuring all citizens are privy to the same information that is being used against them.
The team went so far as to make sure clothing, art forms, dialogue and even written script is as close to what real world hackers would say and do. You can see the trailer at the bottom of the page, and it’s definitely interesting to see the level of effort put into the realism of hacking.
