When the first entry for the Watch Dogs series was announced, it was unsure the direction the game would follow after the misleading demonstration of the game compared to the final product. But, there are communities of players that fell in love with the series and continued to with the second installment that shipped in the years following. This past October, Watch Dogs: Legion arrives – a spin-off set in the same universe.

But, it did not appear much bridged from the first two games thanks to the near-future setting of London. However, Ubisoft went on to indicate there will be come correlation with prior entries through its add-on DLC. In that, Aiden Pierce from Watch Dogs & Wrench from Watch Dogs 2 are both said to find their way into the new release.

During the new trailer for Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodline, it is revealed that both characters will be playable in the coming add-on experience. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:

“Both Aiden and Wrench are playable during Bloodline’s story, and with the Season Pass or an in-game purchase, they can be added to your DedSec Resistance in the main campaign or in the Online mode. Each also comes with new abilities: Aiden can aim in slow-mo after a takedown, gets a damage buff with a well-timed reload, or disable nearby electronics with a System Crash.

“Wrench – in addition to an MPX SMG and LTL grenade launcher, both with custom skins – carries a big custom hammer named Lady Smash, deploys mini flashbangs called Ninja Balls, and can summon a custom drone named Sergei.” Additionally, Ubisoft Toronto previously welcomed the Legion of the Dead to PC which is currently in a closed-alpha for the game.

During Ubisoft Forward elsewhere, the publisher announced its DLC roadmap for Far Cry 6. In that, Vass Montenegro, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed will all be playable characters via post-launch expansions. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is also told to be included as well.
