While it surely was a grasping project, the internet surely has not heard much regarding the upcoming story-driven drama, 12 Minutes. Originally announced during Microsoft’s E3 press conference last year, developer Luis Antonio and publisher Annapurna Interactive spared the new project with a brief glimpse at what will be offered in the new experience coming to Xbox and PC.
Now during today’s Gamescom Opening Night Live, more details have been spared on the coming title. In that, it is revealed that 12 Minutes will star notable actors Willem Dafoe, Daisy Ridley, and James McAvoy. You can watch the new cast reveal trailer in the video below:
“What should be a romantic evening with your wife turns into a nightmare when a police detective breaks into your home, accuses your wife of murder and beats you to death.., the synopsis for the game reads on its Steam page. “Only for you to find yourself immediately returned to the exact moment you opened the front door, stuck in a TWELVE-MINUTE time loop, doomed to relive the same terror again and again…
“Unless you can find a way to use the knowledge of what’s coming to change the outcome and break the loop.” In addition to the new trailer shown off for 12 Minutes, Annapurna Interactive discloses that the coming title will also be arriving to Xbox Series X when it is ready to ship later in the coming future. Taken that the game is now listed for a next-generation system, it is suspected the game will arrive sometime next year.
