Wolfenstein: Youngblood Announced For July Release Date

MachineGames’ Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus stood out to be one of the most anticipated titles for 2017 with the sequel releasing in late-October that year. Despite the shorter yet more difficult campaign compared to its predecessor, fans held the title pretty high regardless of how they felt about for the game.

Which made it even more surprising when Bethesda revealed that two more titles will be coming from the Wolfenstein universe within the coming year back in June at E3. One being Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot which pits the player as a hacker who infiltrates Nazi ordinance and turns them against the Third Reich. And Wolfenstein: Youngblood, a standalone title starring series protagonist BJ Blazkowicz twin daughters, Jess and Soph.

Which made the 80s set satellite title unique though was this will offer fans of the franchise the first chance to experience Nazi occupied Paris as well as taking-part in a co-op adventure with another friend.

Today, Bethesda uncovered the title with a new story trailer along with the set release date for the game to drop on late-July. Looking at the game’s pre-order options, the Deluxe Edition of the game offers a ‘Buddy Pass’, which gives one friend of choice the option to join in on the fun without them needing to purchase the game. This will an additional $10 compared to the standard version’s $30 price tag.

Recently Bethesda revealed that the publisher will in fact be present this year once again for their 5^th annual Bethesda Showcase in Los Angeles. The event will be taking place on June 9^th and will be going live at 5:30 PM PST / 8:30 PM EST.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 29, 2019.
