X019: Rare’s Next IP Revealed To Be The Everwild

This year’s X019 event earlier this month revealed a bevy of exciting projects that will be arriving to Microsoft’s platform later in the coming future. And while we patiently wait for the next generation with Project Scarlett just around the corner, Rare revealed their next project to be another unique IP, Everwild.

While much cannot be said particularly on the development on this game, there is however an announcement trailer that you can watch to soak in what is this new game. You can view the trailer just below:

As already clarified that the game is still in early development, Rare CEO Craig Duncan did share that this new project will be one that he hopes will grab the attention for its uniqueness; similarly to how Sea of Thieves did when announced back at E3 2015, Duncan reminisces. “The Everwild team is focused on building an experience that allows for new ways to play in a natural and magical world,” Duncan reveals about this new IP. “Everwild will give you memorable, engaging and meaningful experiences for players everywhere to share.”

Upon expanding on what else Rare had to offer during its time on stage at the London-hosted event, the developer did share the next upcoming content update for Sea of Thieves, Seabound Soul. You can catch up on what the new content add-on will offer to the seven seas by heading here.
