Xbox One has more than 18 million sales or "activations"

Microsoft have not released an official report on how well the Xbox One is doing in sales but Microsoft analyst May J Foley, of website ZDNet has reported from another source that the latest figure puts sales of the Xbox One  “at least” 18 million consoles through purchase of consumers.
While this number is not official, it is presumed accurate since the number comes from the 200 million Windows activations. 18 million were for the Xbox One. Microsoft is including the console number since the Xbox One runs on a version of Windows 10 since the new Xbox One Experience update in November.
A Microsoft spokesperson confirmed that “active” means any device that’s been “active” in the past 28 days. Foley explains the 200 million Windows 10 activations were 180 million on PC, 1 million+ on Windows 10 phones, and 18 million on Xbox One making up the rest. Even though the PlayStation 4 has sold almost more than halve of that the Xbox has been breaking their own sale records last and this year.
