Yacht Club Games’ Mina The Hollower Receives Halloween Release Date This Fall

The boneworks for developer Yacht Club Games comes of its own volition. While the game studio resurfaces with quality releases, the time between them does test your patience. Nonetheless, it delivers. The same can be said for its newest IP, Mina the Hallower. Announced back in 2022, there has been little on new information pointing towards how far the game’s progression has come.

Well now fast-forward to 2025, Yacht Club Games is back in the spotlight. Although the last time it unveiled Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX, Summer Game Fest did bring new answers. In that, Mina the Hallower is finally launching later this October. You can watch the new gameplay trailer in the video below:

“Descend into a frightful world of action-adventure in Mina the Hollower. Take control of Mina, a renowned Hollower hurtled into a desperate mission to rescue a cursed island. Burrow beneath hazards and monsters, whip foes into oblivion, and gear up with an arsenal of sidearms and trinkets,” the game’s synopsis reads.

“Explore a vast world filled with pixel-perfect graphics, masterful gameplay, beastly bosses, and infectious music. Encounter a cast of bizarre characters, search out secrets in an array of exotic locales, and illuminate the omnipresent darkness in Mina the Hollower, a brand new game from the developers who brought you Shovel Knight!” Additionally, there is also a demo available too.

Coinciding with Summer Game Fest & Steam Next Fest, Yacht Club Games announced that a demo for Mina the Hallower is available now. Howbeit, it is on a timer as the demo for the game will only be live until the end of Steam Next Fest – June 17th. You can visit the demo page by heading here.
