Looking back to June of this year ahead of the latter details regarding Microsoft’s revamp of its platform for the coming Xbox Series X, it was reported at the time that the next-generation console would be adopting the same dashboard interface from the current Xbox One. Many fans instantly while interested to see how this will be interpreted for the new console also grew questionable if the same issue would be present for the Xbox Series X.
And while it was not disclosed at the time, Microsoft this week verified that the UI for the Xbox Series X will be a more responsive and pleasurable experience for all users on its platform. As a matter of fact, Microsoft tells that the coming reinvigorated dashboard will be utilized among all Xbox hardware including the Xbox One, mobile and PC.
Unlike the current system interface for the console, this new UI reimagining in alignment with the Xbox Series X launch is said to cut booting up to the home screen by 50 percent and almost that will not be required to process on the system. In addition, the team also teases animated backgrounds also making an appearance for the new dashboard.
All the ways you experience Xbox should feel inviting and familiar, whether you’re on the couch playing on your console, rallying a group of friends together from your PC, or sneaking in a quick session on your Android device via cloud gaming. The new Xbox look and feel is designed to be faster to use, more approachable and visually appealing. This holiday it will be shared across all Xbox mobile apps, Xbox Game Pass on PC, and of course Xbox One and Xbox Series X consoles.

Reiterating on the presence for mobile devices, Microsoft tells that a new mobile application is currently in the works to overshadow the current one. Alongside integrating a more intuitive UI on smart devices, Xbox owners will also be able to use the app with social experiences to be a priority. Either it be sharing content from your console or simply sending messages to friends, players will find a noticeable difference.
This new restructuring of the platform’s internal look also aligns with the approaching Xbox Store revamp arriving later this fall. The update is already available for Xbox Insider rings and illustrates to be a step in the right direction for users looking for a fast and enjoyable experience for the platform.
