For fans anticipating the mobile debut for NieR with the approaching NieR Re[in]carnation entry arriving in the coming future, publisher Square Enix and developer Applibot this past April spared the first glimpse of gameplay for the title. In the short video, fans surely should be satisfied with how the game operates and functions despite the game being unique to smart phones.
However, while it is exciting to see the game arrive sometime soon, it was only available to occupants in Japan – excluding consumers in other regions. That was until this week that Square Enix shared the game will also be arriving to the west. Even more, fans excited to have reassurance on the title’s release for western markets also got a new trailer.
You can watch the new trailer in the video below:
As of now, pre-registration for NieR Re[in]carnation is only live in Japan on The App Store and Google Play Store. But with a new western version set to arrive as well, it is suspected other regions will be greenlit to pre-register fairly soon. Interesting enough, the release date for Re[in]carnation is listed for December 23 even though Square Enix shared when the game is set to arrive. So keep that on the back burner until properly disclosed.
Elsewhere this week, Square Enix also announced the release date for NieR Replicant. The game will arrive this April in Japan and the following day in the west. You can read the full report by heading here.
