Despite the initial release that No Man’s Sky faced when arriving back in 2015, the open-world, endlessly generated universe is now seeping with experiences ahead following the complete overhaul of content that developer Hello Games issued as part of the project’s reinventing process. Even more, we witnessed the game migrate to other platforms including virtual reality in the past.

But as of most recently, Hello Games offered a next-generation package for No Man’s Sky. In that, users that choose to play the game on either Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5 will be welcomed to a revitalized version of the title. So, elements like higher resolution target and an overall better performance framerate are the new standards on the latest machinery.

Now in a new trailer that was uploaded on Wednesday, Hello Games unveils its next major client update for No Man’s Sky – companions. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:

“The infinite and varied creatures you find roaming the universe can now be tamed and adopted as your companions. Once bonded to you, your new friend can be summoned anywhere – even aboard the Space Anomaly,” the website reads for the latest update.

“Baby creatures will inherit looks and traits from their parent – but they are never exactly the same! They will need your care as they grow from spawn to maturity… Earn the trust of your companion by playing with them, feeding them, and giving them attention. A handful of Creature Pellets can go a long way!”

As many are aware, No Man’s Sky is now an online experience to share with friends. Even more, the title can be bridged between platforms with cross-platform play. So now, all supported platforms are intertwined. You can read the full report by heading here.
