In terms of how BioWare is performing in regards to leadership in staff, there happens to be a large exodus of employees that are heading for the door to new opportunity. In the post-launch campaign for Anthem’s revitalization back in summer 2019, Lead Producer Ben Irving announced his departure from the studio.

What came to be a large eye-opener more recently is the leaving for both Mark Darrah, Anthem Executive Producer, and BioWare General Manager Casey Hudson both to be departing from the developer as well. Darrah was said to be involved with the coming Dragon Age project currently underway while Hudson was told to be leading the work towards the recently announced Mass Effect game.

However, more staff from the Anthem development team appears to be on its way out. In a new tweet from Game Director Jonathan Warner, he shares that he will be saying goodbye to BioWare in late March.

“I’m moving on to do new things,” Warner writes in his tweet. “BioWare has been home to my grateful heart for nearly 10 years and I want to wish them all the best. DA ME and SWTOR are in good hands and I can’t wait to play from this side of the screen.” However, Warner does leave out what his ambition is to be now gone from BioWare.

It was not too long before that an update came from BioWare in reference to Anthem. In that, the game studio issued the official cancellation for Anthem Next. The project was part of a large-scale reboot for the game, but ended being too ambitious as the sector retracted to work on upcoming endeavors. You can read the full report by heading here.
