While the Tale of series is circling in to celebrate 25 years since the commencement of the franchise, lets predate back to E3 2019. Even before that, leaks emerged revealing Tales of Arise. The game which was later confirmed at Xbox E3 press conference proved to be the most ambitious entry yet for the series solely based on the footage presented. However, there was not timeframe at the announcement to suggest a release.

But, it is easily pieced together that perhaps Bandai Namco is preparing to issue its next release in 2021 to enjoy one quarter of a century for the Tales of series. Moreover, there is also room to speculate that there will be a next-generation version of the game for those eager to take on the latest installment on the most dependable hardware for console users.

As you might expect, that happened to be the case for both. With Tales of Arise now being confirmed for Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5, Bandai Namco reveals that the game is scheduled to arrive this September. You can watch the release date trailer in the video below:

“Lost memories, an inability to feel pain, and a mask that cannot be removed. What is the goal of their Renan rulers,” the overview for the trailer explains. “Reclaim your destiny and seize the future. 300 years after being invaded by the adjacent world of Rena, Dahna remains under its control.

“After an encounter with a curious girl, a young man picks up his sword. Atmos Shader creates a stunning world interweaved with emotive characters and an impressive battle system in a tale of liberation rife with turmoil.” More excitingly is there are already plans for another game in the works.

Coming from a finding done over on ResetEra, there is a trademark for ‘Tales of Luminaria” that was filed back in October. You can read the full report by heading here.
