
After a strong start for the PlayStation 5 back in November last year, the now-current-generation console continues to push the gap for first place between Xbox Series X|S. Most recently, it was discovered that the hardware further outperforms the PlayStation 4 despite extreme shortages. However, Sony Interactive Entertainment does clarify that news regarding the next-generation virtual reality headset will be absent at this show unfortunately. “PlayStation’s next generation of VR won’t make an appearance this time. But there will still be plenty of great PS5 games from developers large and small.”
Previously, a report corroborated with UploadVR appears to reveal new information on the new PlayStation VR. In that, it is shared that the coming peripheral is to have a greater resolution count than Oculus Quest 2 and the Valve Index.
