
While the wait felt longer than it really was, it took place over the duration of two years for Luis Antonios’ 12 Minutes to launch. Back at E3 2019 ahead of the pandemic is where the game officially showed off a trailer presentation for the new project. However, a later trailer the year following pressed it will cast Willem Dafoe, Daisy Ridley, and James McAvoy for the game. Xbox Series X was listed as well suggesting it might not launch until 2021.
It was not until this past June where Luis Antonio alongside Annapurna Interactive shared 12 Minutes is to launch this August. Came and went the launch for the game with the addition of the release for Xbox Game Pass as well left players hoping there will be more versions to follow. And of course, here it is on Tuesday for more platforms.
In a recent trailer, PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch is to receive a port for 12 Minutes. You can watch the video in the footage below:
“We will be releasing Twelve Minutes for PS5 , PS4 as well as Nintendo Switch this coming December 7!” Antonio writes in the blog post. He also noted the significance of 12 Minutes this month as well. Coming December 9th, the game has the opportunity to win Best Independent Game at The Game Awards since being nominated for the award.
Recently, we witnessed more Xbox marketed titles slowly transition to more platforms outside of Microsoft’s domain. Namely, Neon Giant’s The Ascent is slated to release for both PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 likely next year via ratings for the game over in Taiwan recently.
