The Gunk, Mortal Kombat 11, Firewatch Headlines Mid December 2021 Xbox Game Pass Additions

With the holidays just around the corner, that also means we are at the halfway mark for December. And with the also indicates we are due for a second update for Xbox Game Pass additions. So far promised by Microsoft is the addition of Serious Sam 4: the game was added to the library last week and includes a new Xbox Series X|S version as well.

Additionally, the Xbox team last week at The Game Awards showcased some new titles coming in the next year. One of the largest titles was not officially revealed at the time *ahem* Sniper Elite 5. In retrospect, there is also The Gunk which is scheduled to ship this month according to a trailer earlier on this year as well.

On Tuesday, Microsoft unveiled the full roster of mid-month additions for December 2021 and you can read the full list below:

And it does not end there. The new Xbox Wire blog post also expands on more touch screen support for ten new games on xCloud: Astria Ascending, Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling, Dicey Dungeons, Fae Tactics, I Am Fish, One Step From Eden, Ring of Pain, Sable, and The Gunk (Coming soon). Already, xCloud has 100+ titles supporting the feature and more is continuously added.

Of course, it is not a new update without a few games departing as well. In total, five titles are departing, which are: Pro Evolution Soccer 2021 (Cloud; Console), The Little Acre (Cloud; Console), Yakuza 0 (Cloud; Console; PC), Yakuza Kiwami 1 (Cloud; Console; PC), and Yakuza Kiwami 2 (Cloud; Console; PC).
