For PlayStation Plus in 2022 so far, Sony continues to drive chatter for the monthly subscription service with its free game category from this month alone. In that, there were three new games to pick: Persona 5 Strikers, Dirt 5, Deep Rock Galactic. Accordingly, each are major releases in each respective genre and proves that the PlayStation firm does not hold back on its subscribers.
Now entering into February close to a week away, Sony Interactive Entertainment has slated another trio of titles to install coming next month. With that is the following: UFC 4, Planet Coaster: Console Edition, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure. More eye-opening is all three will be ready for install the start of the month.
Additionally, February’s roster goes on to divide what games are available for whom – at least for one that is. While UFC 4 & Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure are primed for PlayStation 4, Planet Coaster: Console Edition is a PlayStation 5 version only. The emphasis on last-gen versions could answer for the upped production which was reported on earlier in January.
Elsewhere in connection to PlayStation Plus, it appears that the service could find an overhaul later this year according to discovered indications and speculation. Firstly, Sony Interactive Entertainment pulled PlayStation Now cards from more retailers. Atop of the discovery, the firm has been reported to be working on ‘Project Spartacus’ internally.
The codenamed venture is said to be a counter to Xbox Game Pass merging elements of PlayStation Plus & PlayStation Now into one, tiered subscription model.
