Over the past few months is where Microsoft Flight Simulator team Asobo Studio shined brightest for the aviation title. This past November welcomed the ‘Game of the Year’ edition for Microsoft Flight Simulator, however, it also introduced a new mode to the game – Air Races. Unlike the traditional additions to the game adding depth to real-time locations, players can experience a new flight style where speed is the objective.

Additionally, players were also welcomed to World Update VII. In the seventh free content installment, Asobo Studio added great detail to the former British colony downunder in Australia. Of course, this is yet another fruitful addition to the game at no additional charge and will not mark the last moving forward.

This week, Asobo Studio returns with World Update VIII traveling back to Europe to expand on Spain, Portugal alongside Gibraltar and Andorra. You can read the full list below:

At the start of March, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers were welcomed to Microsoft Flight Simulator once more. In that, cloud streaming officially supported the title. So now players can experience the game on the go via xCloud on mobile devices or even on Xbox One which was previously not available on the older hardware.

Additionally, Asobo Studio went on to elaborate for more support for its xCloud game. In that, keyboard & mouse support is on the way for the simulator. The new feature has yet to release for the service, but the French developer is currently pioneering the toolset for subscribers. You can read the full report by heading here.
