turbo golf racing

The Spring Showcase of the Future Game Show saw the reveal of Turbo Golf Racing by Secret Mode and HugeCalf Studios. As the title implies, we’ll need to combine our skill at multiplayer racing with our short game on the course in order to see who can get the best score.

Turbo Golf Racing is a fast-paced arcade-style sports racing game for up to eight players, all competing to see whose speed-putting skills are up to par. Racers flip, glide, and dash their turbo-charged cars down winding fairways as they strike their oversized golf balls toward the finishing cup. Their will be match-making cross platform play between Xbox and PC players. Similar to Rocket League, there will be a bunch of cosmetic items including wheels, spoilers, shields, paint and wings. That’s right, wings. You can fly in Turbo Golf Racing should you choose. Of course, no game would be complete without power cores giving you special abilities to stomp out your competition.

Something about playing golf with a super huge baseball or crystal ball just gets me excited.

Hugecalf Producer Jonny Hughes stated that “Turbo Golf Racing is the game we’ve always dreamed of making. We’re incredibly proud of Turbo Golf Racing and our plans for its future and cannot wait for players to experience it first-hand when the Beta launches this Spring.”

You can sign up for the beta here. It will be available this Spring with the full game releasing later this year on Xbox and PC Steam
