As many are aware of this past weekend, Showtime’s Paramount+ exclusive Halo Television Series officially aired its first episode. And with a whole season ahead of us, many are still making their minds up on the entirety of the show whilst other are convinced on the fate of this adaptation. One questionable attribute is thanks to the unmasking of Spartan-117 which the platform announced ahead of the release.
Additionally, what is more eye-opening is that Paramount already gave the green light for a second season of the Halo Television Series. With a full season still on the horizon, it is surprising the firm already made the decision before airing the first episode. But, it is proving to be in favor of the platform as Halo Television Series is already shattering records for Paramount+ as the most viewed premiere for the service.
While fans are mixed on the Halo Television Series, Master Chief himself is approval of the series so far. On Twitter, voice actor Steve Downes voices his excitement for the remaining episodes underway whilst shouting out Pablo Scheiber’s performance in the Mark IV armor.
Schreiber himself also responded to the post writing, “Thank you Chief!” On the matters of the latest Halo TV show, one of its showrunners voiced a concern from a communication issue on the making of the Silver Timeline. Variety reported that Showtime did not reference the games, but Steven Kane explained the studio went to 343 Industries to gather lore for the new telling of Halo.
For those eager to catch the first episode and later releases are in good luck. If you are a Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you can redeem a 30-day free trial for Paramount+ in the Perks section of the subscription. You can read the full report by heading here.
