In the long stretch of content that came from Coffee Stain Studios with the first Goat Simulator game, it was expected that the sequel would bring even more to the series whenever it came. But what confused many is the announcement for the next installment. Alike the first game, its follow-up made a mock-up of a Dead Island cinematic trailer to set the tone for what is to come.
Additionally, the firm outright skipped the title for ‘Goat Simulator 2’ and went to the third one. “Goat Simulator 2 is not available with @XboxGamePass… mostly because it doesn’t exist,” the Xbox Twitter account wrote to answer questioning fans. That is due to Coffee Stain Studios instead announcing Goat Simulator 3 last month.
This week, the game studio returns with a new trailer revealing the game’s release date scheduled for this November. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“Goat Simulator 3 is a brand new third-person sandbox adventure game in which you get to become the literal GOAT. Just like the first Goat Simulator, you’ll need to headbutt, lick and triple-jump your way across the giant island of San Angora – this time with all new areas, challenges, and events to discover,” the overview for the game reads on the official website.
There is also a ‘Goat in a box’ edition of the game up for pre-order which includes Copy of the game, Custom goat box, Goat plushie, SteelBook, Three postcards, Double-sided poster, Game and soundtrack discs, Pre-udder gear, Remastered skins and gear, Digital soundtrack, and 3D printing files (PC only) which pricing has yet to be shared.
