Warzone receives it’s Rocket League inspired mode on December 14

Call of Duty is all in on soccer this year as they’ve recently added many players such as Lionel Messi to the game as operators in Warzone 2.0. That’s not the only soccer related thing that’s being introduced to the popular Battle Royale will be getting a Rocket League inspired mode, ‘Warzone Cup’ on December 14 at 10:00 AM PT.

Players will compete against each other on ATV’s to score points. The rest of the mode is self explanatory.

“Warzone Cup pits two teams of three Operators against each other at Al Easima Field, a modern sports stadium within the greater Call of Duty: Modern Warfare® II universe.”

“Each Operator will drive an ATV as they attempt to knock a massive ball into the other team’s goal within an eight-minute time limit. After each goal, the ball and all Operators are reset to their starting positions to resume play. The first team to reach five goals, or the team that gets the most goals within eight minutes, wins the match.”

The Warzone Cup is just a part of the Call of Duty midseason update which is known as Season 01 Reloaded. The update will also include Double XP bonus and Double Weapon XP which will be active for both Warzone 2.0 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
