This Summer Nintendo announced that the longtime voice of Mario and Luigi, Charles Martinet would be retiring from the role. Since then Charles and Shigeru Miyamoto shared a video message talking about the memories they had together and talked about Charles being a Mario ambassador. It was later revealed that Mario and Luigi will feature a new voice actor in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Kevin Afghani announced on Twitter that he voiced Mario and Luigi in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. He also thanks Nintendo for inviting him into the Flower Kingdom.

Kevin has a history of voiceovers for Television Series and Video Games as he voiced Arnold in Genshin Impact and Raditz in Dragon Ball R&R.

While Kevin Afghani is doing the voice for Mario and Luigi, it hasn’t been announced if he will be doing Waluigi and Wario which Charles Martinet also voiced.
