There will be Xbox news at The Game Awards

The Game Awards is right around the corner taking place on December 7, 2023, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Usually every year there will be announcements from Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo and even some large publishers will have news to share. It’s safe to say that Xbox news will drop during the show.

Microsoft confirmed there would be “important announcements and other Xbox news that you don’t want to miss”. This was found by Klobrille:

The Game Awards will take place at 7:30 PM ET with a 30-minute pre-show taking place before the start that will most likely have smaller announcements there.

Don’t forget the last time Xbox had a major announcement at The Game Awards was in 2019 when the Xbox Series X was revealed for the first time. It doesn’t necessarily mean that Microsoft will do something that large, but this is an event that the entire industry does watch so it’s possible we see video game-related news more than anything.
