Palworld, the game referred to as “Pokémon with guns” has officially released in early access on Xbox Series XlS and PC. You can also access the game if you are a subscriber of Xbox Game Pass. While some players may get the game for “free”, it’s still selling many copies on Steam and Xbox.

Pocket Pair announced on Friday morning that Palworld has sold over 1 million copies in 8 hours since its release on January 19, 2024.

This game has some loyal Pokémon fans upset that the game’s creatures have a lot of similarities to actual Pokémon. Either way, Palworld already looks like a success on its first day, but it will be a while until its full release as it intends to stay in early access for a year.
