Just Cause 3: Mech Assault DLC release date announced

Square Enix have announced the release date for the latest Just Cause 3 Expansion: June 10th. Expansion pass holders will be able to get it a week early on June 3rd though.
Mech Land Assualt, the second of the trio of expansions covered by the Air, Land and Sea pass, is set to introduce players to Lacrima. Lacrima is a totally new island featuring an “abandoned eDen research base” and a prison camp “run by the mysterious Black Hand.”
To tackle this mysterious new island Rico Rodriguez will be receiving three new toys. The first of which is a “new energy weapon” called the Bavarium Power Core rifle. The second is a pair of new and powerful mechs. According to, senior producer at Avalanche Studios, Tobias Andersson these new mechs will allow Rico, “to throw enemies, vehicles, and chaos objects around like tennis balls.”
The expansion will cost $12 if purchased separately, or the expansion pass for all three is currently $25. The first expansion, Sky Fortress, released in March and the third expansion, Bavarium Sea Heist, will be available “by the end of Summer 2016.”
