While there are many players who enjoy playing Rockstar Games’ on PC like Red Dead Redemption 2, Grand Theft Auto V, Max Payne, the GTA Trilogy, and more, they have discontinued support for Windows 7 & 8.

If you have been using the Rockstar Games Launcher while on Windows 7 or 8 you will no longer be able to do so as the company has ended the support. Currently, the most up-to-date version of Windows is Windows 11 with Windows 10 still being used by a vast majority of gamers.

In 2024 this shouldn’t come as a shock to you and with Grand Theft Auto 6 on the horizon, having anything less than Windows 10 wouldn’t be ideal.
