Watch Dogs is one of Ubisoft’s more recent franchises that saw success the moment it was released in 2014 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Over the years we got a total of three Watch Dogs games including Watch Dogs 2 and Watch Dogs Legion most recently and now it turns out the franchise may get a film adaptation.

According to Deadline, a live-action Watch Dogs movie is in the works and Sophie Wilde will star in it. The movie will be directed by Mathieu Turi while Yariv Milchan and Natalie Lehmann will produce for New Regency Pictures who will be in charge of the Watch Dogs Adaptation.

Ubisoft hasn’t talked about this themselves, but with the amount of adaptations we’ve seen over the years as of late, it’s no surprise.
