Although Activision doesn’t have its own booth at the upcoming E3 expo, it doesn’t mean that one of its biggest games will not be in appearance.
The official Call of Duty Twitter account announced today that Infinity Ward will be offering an “in-depth” look at the shooter’s campaign. Although there was no mention of where the footage will be shown, date of the 13th was given. This date is also the same day as Sony’s press conference, and considering the partnership between Sony and Activision, it would make sense for the reveal to happen there.
Infinity War’s campaign is said to focus on the pilot of one Earth’s last remaining warships, Captain Reyes, as he leads the “remnants of the coalition forces against a relentless enemy.” The campaign is set take players beyond just the usual setting of Earth and out into the solar system. Players will also be given control of their own fighter plane which they can customise as they see fit.
The game is set to launch on November 4th to all major consoles and PC, with all DLC coming to PlayStation 4 due to the aforementioned Sony and Activision deal. A remastered version of Modern Warfare 4 will be also available to all who purchase a special edition of Infinite Warfare.
