From the looks of it, Rockstar Games is planning to release Red Dead Redemption from 2010 on PC soon. This comes from a file that @TezFunz2 on X (Twitter) found as he spotted a code that hints toward Red Dead Redemption 1 coming to the platform soon.

There are a few marketing strings found on Rockstar’s launcher site file that says “Experience the epic Western adventure that defined a generation” and there was another outline giving away what they’re talking about. See the image below:

Rockstar Games finally brought Red Dead Redemption to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in August after making those console owners wait years. When it was first released on May 18, 2010, it only became available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Now, you can play it via backward compatibility on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

We should expect an announcement coming from Rockstar soon.
