Microsoft is rumored to add new tiers to Xbox Game Pass with Call of Duty coming to the service

There has been a lot of talk about Microsoft’s plans with its Xbox Game Pass service after it closed four studios that included Hi-Fi Rush developer, Tango Gameworks. Reports in the last few weeks said Microsoft was internally debating if it should put new Call of Duty games on Game Pass.

From the looks of it, Call of Duty 2024 will come to Xbox Game Pass, but a new rumor surfaced indicating that Microsoft will add new tiers and changes to Xbox Game Pass to accommodate adding Call of Duty to the service.

Industry insider, Shinobi responded to a user on ResetEra saying there will be changes coming to Game Pass.

The next Call of Duty will be announced ahead of the Xbox Games Showcase and is going to likely feature a direct for the new Black Ops game that will be considered ‘Black Ops 6’. The new Call of Duty is rumored to take place during the Gulf War and was going to have the term in its official name, but it seems plans have changed.
