
Destiny 2: The Final Shape is releasing on June 4, 2024, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It was initially supposed to be released in February 2024 but had been delayed to polish it up, and at the time Bungie had gone through a lot of layoffs. The newest expansion will require a lot of space on your console or PC depending on where you play.

The download size for Destiny 2: The Final Shape is very large for an expansion to a video game and might be the largest we’ve seen. For PC you’ll need to have almost 300 GB of storage space for the installation of The Final Shape.
For consoles, the install size for Destiny 2: The Final Shape will be upwards of 165 GB on Xbox Series X|S and 143 GB for PlayStation 5.
