New S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Trailer Showcases Its World Building & Ukrainian Voiceover

The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series has remained a staple for many players – specifically on PC. But ever since the announcement for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, the series has begun its emphasis on console. Just this past spring, GSC Game World launched the original trilogy for Xbox & PlayStation. Of course, the plans for console support does not stop there.

Originally, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl was promised to ship in the spring. However, fans waiting were given another release date – September 2024. So in the meantime it was ushered to a later launch this autumn. However, things got even more interesting at the Sunday Xbox Game Showcase this weekend.

During the livestreamed presentation, Xbox & GSC Game World revealed a new trailer presenting the storytelling as well as featuring the Ukrainian voiceover that is established for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“In-game footage is mixed with narrative snippets, highlighting the prominence of the non-linear storyline in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The Time of Opportunities trailer is aptly named, reflecting the boundless potential that awaits within this unforgiving landscape. How will you see the Zone? And how will She remember you?”

The Xbox Wire post continues: “This time, you’ll hear much more of the Ukrainian voiceover. Being a Ukrainian company, GSC Game World knows that many fans are eager to experience the game in Ukrainian with subtitles of their choice. The trailer is aimed to provide a better understanding of what this experience will feel like.”
