During the NHL Awards EA has revealed who won the NHL 17 Cover Vote. Picking a representative from each team from the World Cup of Hockey and going down the wire to either Pavelski or Tarasenko. Obviously Tarasenko has won as he represents the St. Louis Blues who made it to the Western Conference Finals this past year. A total of 6 Million votes were counted.

During the announcement they also revealed that there will be a public beta for NHL 17. You can sign up here to get into the early NHL 17 beta.
The modes available in the NHL 17 Public Beta:
Online Versus – All teams available to use in online head-to-head matches.
HUT – All modes to try. Cannot purchase NHL Points.
EASHL – Level capped but lower level team and player customization options are available.
It also turns out NHL 17 launches September 13th, 2016. It’s available for pre-order right now.
