In 2024, PlayStation 5 didn’t have too many notable console exclusives, but Stellar Blade was one of them and has been a well-received game. Today, SHIFT UP said they expect to release a PC version of Stellar Blade in 2025. This information comes from the company’s Q3 2024 earnings report Q&A segment.
“We’re aiming for a 2025 release,”SHIFT UP stated in response to being asked when Stellar Blade would be coming to PC. “Given recent trends like Steam’s growing presence in the AAA games market and the global success of Black Myth: Wukong, we are expecting the PC version to perform even better than the console version.”
While we wait for the release of Stellar Blade on PC, the PlayStation 5 version is getting a new update bringing a NieR: Automata crossover on November 20. The developer says Stellar Blade continues to perform well since its release in April.
In our review of Stellar Blade, we scored it an 8.5 out of 10. “Stellar Blade is a journey through the depths of human resilience and the cost of redemption, and stands as a testament to the power of storytelling in gaming.”
