Sea of Stars has reached over 6 million players since launch

Sabotage Studio released Sea of Stars over a year ago across PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The game was an instant hit and is a heavily inspired by the classic title, Chrono Trigger. It has been announced that Sea of Stars has been played by over 6 million players worldwide.

The announcement came from the official X (Twitter) account for Sea of Stars.

Earlier this month, Sabotage Studio released the Dawn of Equinox which introduced three-player co-op across the entirety of the game’s campaign and brought adjustments to combat and more. This update is free to all players.

In Spring 2025, Sea of Stars will be getting another free DLC – Throes of the Watchmaker that will bring a new storyline, a new playable character, and more.
